Your Friend Abroad is a boutique international education consulting service created to help you turn the idea of studying in Europe into an achievable plan. It was founded due to the firsthand experience of dealing with the uncertainty that often arises while trying to make this dream a reality. Between the two of us, we have earned bachelor’s degrees in Milan, Italy and Prague, Czechia, pursued master’s degrees in Paris, France and London, England, and completed a French language program in Marseille, France. We offer personalized, one-on-one consultations to help you explore your options ranging from full degree programs to language learning and beyond. We’ve been in your shoes, so our goal is to guide you into this next chapter with clarity, confidence, and excitement!

Nice to meet you!

I’m Kaitlin, the Founder of Your Friend Abroad. From the moment I began researching for my bachelor’s degree abroad, I hoped to one day create a service that would help people who were going through this confusing process themselves. Now, five years later, I am doing just that! After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts from NABA in Milan, Italy, then pursuing my Master of Science at KEDGE in Paris, France, and finally learning French intensively at the Alliance Française in Marseille, France, I have done my fair share of digging on all things related to studying abroad in Europe!

Now, it’s time for me to pass the torch to you, my friend. Wherever you are in your journey, whether that be choosing if going abroad is right for you, narrowing down your program, figuring out what to do post-acceptance, or feeling some moving-related anxiety, I’m here to help. Nice to meet you!

I’m Hunter, Founding Advisor & Consultant at Your Friend Abroad. I remember the daunting process of researching all of my options for getting my degree abroad, and I’m so excited to finally be in a position to help others navigate this complicated process.

Since 2021, I have received my Bachelor’s of International Relations from Anglo-American University in Prague, Czechia and my Master’s in Digital Culture and Society from King’s College London in the UK. Since graduating, I have worked in the realm of international education. I first worked with AFS-USA, a non-profit where I interviewed candidates for US State Department-funded high school exchange programs, and then with Northeastern University helping to manage their N.U.in Scotland program, a first-year study abroad program in partnership with The University of Glasgow.

At this point, I would say I know too much about all of the different options for studying full-time in Europe, and now I’m ready to use this knowledge and experience to help you! Click below to book a call with me!
